The Journey of Princess Jacquelyn Wong Jia Qi: School Holiday

School holiday started become a very fun and happy ' season ' for our little one now, as she grows older and older now, she needs companion and friends to play along and share together, she loves to play with a group of people rather than with herself only. So, school holiday is a fun and happy ' festival ' for her where all her cousins came back to Wai Poh's house for holiday and all of them can play together.

Yeah ! Happy, we are at Planetarium Center ! So happy, see all the cousin brothers and sisters.

Although all the cousin brothers and sisters ages difference are big if compared to our little one, ( the eldest one is 10 years old and youngest one here in this trip is 6 years old ), but our Jacquelyn still enjoyed their companion very much, she can still play with them happily. As she knows, we all are FAMILY !!!!

Every school holiday, this poor Wai Poh is so pity and poor, because all her 8 grandchildren will all come home to stay at her house and make her house a fun and happy playground. Everyday with only taking care of all the grandchildren's basic needs already made her tired enough. Now still need to come out for trip together !!!! So poor her !!!!

But although it's tiring, but this granny still look very happy one, you see her face !!! She is the best granny in the world, all the grandchildren love her very much because she really treat all the grandchildren very well, always buy a lot of things and toys and shirts for them.

Tell you a secret, one of my mum's granddaughter has drawn her a Birthday Card where the words that she put in the card was so touching and sincere and true !!! The content is something like this : " Wai Poh, I love you so much, everytime you come to my house, I also feel very happy and excited but everytime when you left, I also cry and feel so sad. Wai Poh, I don't want you to go back, I want you to stay with me all the time, I love all the things that you bought for me, I appreciated your love to me ! " See, a Primary School Standard Two girl wrote something like this, if you were the grandma when received this, what's the feeling that you have ???

See, everyone so fun playing in the Anti Gravity Space Ship, so happy !!!!

Every school holiday, the mummy needs to think of a lot of school holiday activities and outing for all these cousins and of course, our little one - The Jacquelyn !!!!

But it's really not an easy task to bring all these kids out especially where the total number of adults are lesser than the kids.

Try to imagine, 10 people in a car, 4 energetic and talkative kids + 1 young baby + 1 pretty toddler + 3 adults + 1 Senior Citizen. Wow !!! Need to really have a good skill to control these active children !!!

See, our little one can really join the group to play together one !!!

This is the demo spaceship where you may sit on and try on the driving feeling and try on all the buttons, quite fun and it's a good experience for these young kids to explore !!!

Sometime, I was shocked by my this little girl. She can suddenly shout out something that I don't know that she knew already. For example, there was one time where her Gymboree theme is Space Outing and the teacher is teaching all about Space. Rocket is one of the things that cannot be missed in space, and when teacher asked all the kids what's the picture is ? Only Jacquelyn shout out " ROCKET !!!! " I was shocked and surprised by her. Mummy don't even know that you know the word " Rocket " but you knew it already.

Like I mentioned earlier, many times, I also forgot when has I taught her all these words, maybe from her story books, from the TV, from ????? But she knows, and her strong memory can really surprised you.

Girl, you are too small for the rocket lah !!! Can't see you when you standing inside.

Space suit !!! This is the space suit ! Jacquelyn learnt this new vocabulary during the trip. When she came home watching all her photos in the TV, the daddy asked : What is this ??? She replied : " Space Suit ! " The mummy looked at her and stunt !!!

So, the power of learning ! It's faster to learn from what you see and experienced yourself than the books.

Many people says : Aiya, she is still so young, bring her to Planetarium Center, she can't even understand and she don't even know what is that !!!! Who says so ???? See, our little one really picked up a lot from every trip that she went, she remembered and she really learnt from all the trips. From the Ostrich Farm trip, Zoo, Library, Bread Town and etc, she learnt and she remembered, so she surprised you !!!!

So, let's the kids to explore and learn from the real experience !!! They know it !!!! Yes, they do !!!

Hey, why suddenly got a pinky girl next to the two astronauts ????

I want to try, I want to try too !!!!

Our little one is now going to classes 4 times a week. Two days on playgroup, one day on music class and one day on Gymboree. This already keep the mummy busy enough to drive in and out everyday.

Now the mummy has to drive this little one to classes 3 times on weekdays, so she got only 2 weekdays for herself. Then she needs to take care of her business, while sharpening her bakery skill, and take care of all the houseworks too. Weekends, daddy also very busy running around. Classes, dinner, shopping and etc.

One already so busy ???? Can't really imagine those parents who have 3 or 5 kids ????

Vjinn Biao Jie, I also want to see, what are you seeing there ?????

This little girl is so superb, she only started to speak at the age of 25 months, but once she speaks, she can speaks the whole full sentence with proper grammar and she can read story books once she can speak out.

Besides, she can recognised all the words and phrases. Eventhough for a new book which the mummy never read for her, she can also read the book. So superb !

That's why it's real important to teach and share at early age !

Sometimes kids are too talkative also don't know if it is good or not, hahahahaha ! Like ours, many times, she really surprised you by what she was saying.

For example, when we are eating ice cream and this little girl has already finished her and she wants more, and we don't give her. She will say : " Mummy, you said sharing is happiness. You are not sharing one ! " LOL. What can the mummy says ???

Or sometimes when we say something wrongly, she will says : " Please say it correctly ! It's crocodile, not alligator !!! "

And our little girl loves compliments very much. If you want her to do something for you, you just need to " challenge " her or praise her, then she will do whatever you want her to do for you.

For example :

Mummy : Jacquelyn, do you think you are big enough and you can wear your shoes by yourself ?

Jacquelyn : YES !!!!

Then quickly she will wear it by herself. Otherwise, when she is not in good mood, she will be very dependent and want the mummy to wear for you.

Kid can sometimes be very demanding too.

Jacquelyn : Mummy, please come to play the chess with me. Please come now.

Mummy : Sorry, mummy is still busy at work, can you please play by yourself first ? Mummy will come to you in 10 minutes.

Jacquelyn : No, I want you to play with me now. You see, I have energy.

Except love, energy, patient, time, money, we still need a lot of love and love and love to grow a happy and energetic child !!!!

But at night, when she wants to sleep, she will tell mummy that she wants to go home, she missed her home, she missed all her toys, she wants to go home. So cute, so young already so ' home sick ' !!!

It's a X-Ray Machine ! I can see my bone and my chest ! And I can also see the Enfagrow A+ Milk in my tummy from the X-Ray machine !!!! So interesting !!!!

She is really happy to see the X-Ray Machine !!! As she can see the milk in her tummy !!!! Good imagination leh !!!!

So many people seeing her laughing loudly in this hall !!!

She keeps running back to Wai Poh and tell her what she sees from the X-Ray machine !!!!

The machine can last for about one minute, then go black out. Then need to press the button again, and the X-Ray photo will appear again.

In this hall, there are a few things which are quite interesting. Like there is a microwave where once you press the button, you will see a hamburger, rice, seafood noodle turning around inside the microwave. So when our little one see this, she found it very interesting and like to play with it so much !
