30.10.2010 ( Saturday ), the Daddy and Mummy of Jacquelyn Wong Jia Qi, has decided to organise a First birthday party for this little cute cute Princess.
They have invited a lot of their friends, family members and relatives to come and join them and share this happy moment together.
Hurray ! Congratulations to you, Jacquelyn for your first birthday celebration in year 2010.
Happy happy happy happy happy and happy !!!! This is the only feeling for the daddy, mummy and Baby JACQ to wait for this very special moment to arrive.
Daddy and mummy have sent out invitation to all their friends and family at end of September. Originally, in their invitation list, there are about 200 persons to be invited to this event, but due to the good day ( 30.10.2010 ) chosen, a lot of their good friends and relatives are unable to come for this celebration. Some have company dinner, some has relatives' wedding functions to attend, some has oversea trips, some has to work on that day, some have kids' graduation night, some has fullmoon party, some has other birthday parties to attend, some has concert and etc, a lot of other events happening on the same night.
However, finally there are still about 90 persons attended the party. Thanks to everyone who made yourself available to share this happiness with us, we really appreciated your time and your gifts to our little one. Thank you !!!
Once the Daddy Mummy decided to have this party, they started plan for the activities of the night. What to prepare ? What to do ? What to wear and etc... a lot of preparations. Firstly, this " Birthday " board was created. Idea from mummy and action by daddy. We would like to share all the beautiful pictures of our little one with every guests of the night, so we printed some of her cute cute photos to be placed on the board for the guests to see.
First, not so boring, where you can have something to see besides eating and talking, secondly, we would like everyone to know the name of the " Star of the night ", big big " Jacquelyn Wong Jia Qi " name was printed on the board. Don't you agreed with me that normally we went for our friend's children birthday party, we usually don't know what's her / his name, right ? so, this is a good way to tell everyone, our little cute cute princess of the night is " Jacquelyn Wong Jia Qi " !!!! Hahahahahahahahaaa................................
Secondly, mummy designed this Birthday Invitation Card to be send out to everyone for RSVP purpose. Daddy seems didn't really used this as he invited all his friends through Facebook only. Well, however, still, many of mummy's friends who are unable to attend, received this invitation card and keep it as memory too. At least, they see Baby JACQ's face. Ha hahaahahhahaaa..............
So, very fast, after one month of preparation, booking venue, buying and packing of goodies bag, order and finalise catering menu, booking of uncle clown, liaising on tent and canopy, send out and RSVP of invited guests and etc, now, it's the REAL SHOW TIME !!!
See, the Daddy is not only playing computer at home, at office, at anywhere he gies, but also during this big day. Many guests arrived already, he is still playing computer. Oh My God !!! what happen to you, daddy ??? Oh no lah, daddy is busying getting ready with the slideshow to show guests all the beautiful photos of our little princess. He played songs from the laptop too, to make the event more happier and lively.
So, we have a corner with laptop showing guests our princess's photos. So that the guests have something to do, besides eating and eating.
See, this is the Little Princess BABY JACQ's birthday party look ! Does she looks cute in this dress and the special hairband??? Of course, everyone praise her for the pretty look. The hairband is so special which makes her look so cute and chubby. Pretty, Jacquelyn. It's your birthday lah, smile, please ....................
All the kids who attended the party that night, have received this Goodies Bag. There are a total of 12 items in this small little tiny bag. Some candy, jelly, tit-bits, birthday party stuff like birthday peep-peep, mask, hat, pencil, and etc. Some for them to eat, some for them to play during birthday cake cutting session, some for them to bring home as take home gift. All the items were specially and carefully chosen by the mummy and daddy, hope all the kids appreciated it lah !!!
Mei Mei, don't worry, mummy also keep one for you. Hahahahahhaha........................
The birthday party is a pool-side buffet dinner. See all these four cousin brothers and sisters of BabyJACQ, they all are so excited and happy that they can attend this birthday party. Hey, quick quick eat and drink, later still got a lot of activities and fun games awaiting for you.

See the birthday board, the Wai Kong made it as the backdrop in front of the food, where when everyone taking their food, they sure take a look at the pictures and photos. So, that the daddy's effort in making the board is not wasted. So good the idea of Wai Kong. A bravo to Grandpa !!!!
The food of the night also carefully chosen by the mummy, scared of not enough food and variety for the guests to eat, we have ordered about 27 different food for our guests to choose and eat. We also have red coloured egg for this birthday occassion and ABC ( Ice Kacang ) for the hot weather, sharkfin soup as starter and soya beans as drink. Hope our guests enjoyed the food.

Happy Birthday to Jacquelyn Wong Jia Qi !!! See, all her pretty and smiling faces. Many guests were so impressed about this board and asked us how to do it. Especially the Da Yee, she is so admired and wanted this board.
See, the mummy is so thirsty after talking to so many friends non-stop and see the daddy, so tired and sit down and talk to friends. Then where is the little Princess???????? Hahhahahahhahaa...........
So, co-incident, this friend of mine is also Dickson's long lost friend. Because of her, my brother in law Dickson met my sister, oh my god ! I have known Hui Yee for years and only tonight, when she met Dickson and only got to know he is my brother in law. What a small world !!!!
See this little princess, the whole body of her wear tonight ( from shoes, socks, skirts, napkin ) was sponsored by Wai Poh, except the special hairband, by San Yee. Nice look ya !!!!
The whole night, daddy and mummy is so busy entertaining all the guests, so the little Princess has to take care by Wai Kong and Wai Poh loh !!!!

By now, after seeing a few photos, you might realise that " How come the quality of the photo taking is so poor one ??? " Ya loh !!!! What to do? The photographer of the night is not a professional one, somemore is a very not professional one. Aiyo, Ah Ku, what happen to you, too hungry ahh ???? Until hands all shake shake and all photos taken are blur blur one. Not even a nice photos. Daddy and mummy are so disappointed on this.

This is the view from one side of the party venue. In fact, a few hours before the party, the rain was very very heavy until the chef also got to stop cooking and stay till the rain and wind stop, in order to continue working. We were all so worried that, if really rain at night, how arr ???? The tent sure not enough to coope all our guests. Luckily, at about 6.30pm, the rain stop and nice & windy weather during the whole night. Thank God !!!
Like during our wedding dinner night, a few hours before the dinner, also raining heavily. It repeated again tonight !!!! What a co-incidence !!!! Hahahahahahaahaa.........................
See, Wai Kong is taking good care of Baby JACQ ya. Thank you Wai Kong for helping out during the whole night. Wai Kong, Wai Poh and Poh Poh also very busy that night, they don't really have time to sit down enjoy the food, pai seh pai seh !!!!

The function starts at 7pm and our first guests - Choong's Brothers being our very very first guest to arrived. At 7.40pm, the Unlce Clown coming out and give all the kids a shock and surprise !!!! Hahahahahhaha..................... See, all the kids so happy to see Uncle Clown !!!!

What is Uncle Clown doing ? Oh, making baloons for all the kids. And all the children are queieng up for cute cute shape baloons. So fun and happy !!!

Uncle Clown is asking, what shape or animals you want for the baloons ????? He can do anything.
More and more daddy coming to join the group. Some kids get flower baloons, some get swords, some get dogs, some get horse, some get gun and etc. Tell you secretly, not only kids like his baloons making, many adults also queieng up for baloons too. Hahhahahahahahaaa............ so, kids and parents all happy.

We have prepared a table to put all the gifts that we received from our guests. And, beside the gifts, what have you noticed ? There are some pens and paper, and a box with some writings on. What is this for ????? Oh ya ! This is actually the Birthday Greetings Box where if you think you want to say something to Jacquelyn, you may write it on the paper and throw inside this box, mummy and daddy will read for Baby JACQ later. So, you will not be so bored also, can write something after eating and waiting for second or third round.
Wei, Si Yee, mummy ask you to distribute gifts and goodie bags for all the kids, not asking you to choose what is good and keep for your own kids lah. Apa lah !!! Hhahahahahhahahahaaa..............

Now you see, the Uncle Clown's fans changed group. He ' kou tim ' the kids already, and now the adults' turn. All asking for special shapes of baloons, some request for ring, some earings, some flowers, some knife and etc. All kinds of request. So, I said, not only children love Uncle Clown, papa mama also love Uncle Clown. It's definitely worth for us to pay for this Uncle Clown ! Good job !!!! Well Done !!!!
We are so happy because most of our guests are very puncture on that night, and we felt so sorry for those who lost their way as we know, our house is not easy to find especially for those first timer to this area. Due to the punctuality of the guests, we managed to start the party on time and end it in two hours time. Which means we started at 7pm and at 8.45pm, we cut the birthday cake and those who have finished eating, can go home at 9.00pm, after eating the cake. To us, we called it a successful event because it is a 2 hour event. Of course, we also have a lot of friends and relatives stay until about 10.30pm for chit-chatting. Good planning !

Mei Mei has not enough sleep on that night, she started feel drowsy at about 8.30pm. Cannot tahan and want mummy liao. So mummy has to carry her everywhere to talk to friends. Luckily, she is so co-operative and stay alert till the end, till the birthday cake cutting ceremony. And, of course, she see her Barney on the Cake !!!! Well, after went back to our house, at about 10.45pm, we still have friends at our house, stay back for more chit chatting session, this littlr princess, once she reached home, she saw all her toys, her ABC playmat, her books and etc, she was so excited and keep playing, playing and playing, till 1.40am, only she slept on that night. Wow ! So tiring the mummy !!!!
See, her new technique, when she is about to sleep, she must tear mummy's ears, both side, one side to another side, just like what she is doing in the picture. She just don't care, she wants to sleep, she is tired, she just keep tearing your hairs, your ears, until many times, mummy also cannot tahan coz it's too painful. However, the mummy still talking happily with her tearing ears to her friends. Good mummy lah !!!
Don't you think the Birthday Picture Board really served as a good backdrop for the night. Another bravo to Wai Kong for this great idea !!!! Well done and thanks so much for sharing this nice thought.
Mummy, being the host, also so ' kiasu', want to get a baloon for this Birthday Girl. The Uncle Clown also so " sek zou ", he purposely made a very special face mask balloon for this special little birthday girl. The balloon that he made for Mei Mei was a mask which can wear it on Mei Mei's face, so special !!!! Some kids saw it, also request for the same one, but Uncle Clown says : " This is only for the special girl of the night ! " Hahahahahahha.........................
See, mummy also got a special one to wear on her hand. Really creative this Uncle Clown !
Oh ! Mei Mei feel so sleepy, hot and tear off her hairband, looking for her " jit jit " liao !!!!

Wow ! What a white big bear, also coming to share this happiness with us. She is from Puchong, sending off by the little Princess " Kao Kong " ( Uncle ). Hahahahahahhahahahah ! This gift table become more and more tiny the space as a lot of people giving presents to the birthday girl !

Wah, Wah Chai, I know you have 4 brothers with kids, so you are asking for 4 baloons from Uncle Clown arr ?????? How can you be so greddy leh ????? Ok, Uncle Clown stop making balloons liao, because he wants to start the games playing session with the kids liao. He is now explaining on the rules and regulations on his games and how can they win the prizes away from this games. See, all the kids are paying full attention on him.

After explaining on the rules and regulations of the games, now they start the games. Oh ! Uncle Clown is teaching all the kids to make balloons and whoever made the best baloons, can walkaway with the Grand Prize of the night. So everybody is learning hard from him.

Like in wedding dinner, we try to take pictures with everyone to keep for memory. This is Lao Kong's long lost unimate. Their daughter is 15 months now.
I think this is the only clear nice picture of the night, where everyone in the picture can see their faces clearly. Thank God !!!! Still got one.
